to listen to an interview with Dave Ellis and others about Life Coaching.
Life coaching is a
process whereby the coach assists the client to determine what he or she
wants in all areas of life for the rest of life and to then develop realistic
and multiple action plans to achieve those visions.
Generally the coach
meets with the client three to six per month over several years in order
to assist them to achieve the life of their dreams by discovering their
passions and uncovering their genius.
By meeting with
a life coach, clients create and achieve goals in every area of life.
This happens through frequent contact with the coach who serves as the
clients full partner in their life development.
Life coaching is
not just a collection of techniques. Its a form of relationship
thats both confidential and life-changing. People usually reveal
more to their life coach than to friends, counselors, or even their
spouse. Through this relationship, clients can move quickly from problems
to solutions, from insights to action, from the status quo to completely
new outcomes in their lives.
Life coaches provide
a service for people who are already happy and successful. Basically,
life coaching clients have life handled. Life coaches are committed
to assisting their clients to experience a deep sense that they are
freefree from their obligations, their limitations, their fears,
and any other obstacles to realizing their full passion and brilliance.
Clients can expect
the following benefits:
- Life with more
joy.
- Deeper intimacy.
- Contributing
more to the world.
- Improved health
and vitality.
- Fuller celebration
of life.
- Improved personal
and professional relationships.
- Deep self-acceptance.
- Clear future
visions.
- Improved work-place
morale.
- Emotional, physical,
and spiritual well-being.
